Participants in our EMDR teacher training program develop eight core competencies: mastering EMDR protocols so thoroughly they can teach them with depth and precision, developing keen observational skills to identify and correct therapist mistakes and challenges in real-time, cultivating astute listening abilities to guide their consultees through complex clinical moments, learning to teach the nuanced decision-making process of when and how to use specific EMDR protocols based on client presentations, building expertise in clinical judgment to help new therapists navigate treatment planning and protocol selection, teaching comprehensive case conceptualization using the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, integrating the latest research in EMDR theory and practice into their educational approach, and demonstrating how current evidence informs clinical decision-making. 

Those who complete the program emerge with the advanced clinical knowledge and teaching skills necessary to mentor confident, competent EMDR practitioners who are grounded in both foundational principles and cutting-edge developments.
